IN-PERSON | The First-Ever Public NeuroTriad Model Training

January 13th & 14th, 2027 | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Live in Los Angeles with Dr. Kate Truitt

Join Echo Trainings and Dr. Kate Truitt for the first-ever public live NeuroTriad Model training, an exclusive two-day in-person event at the California Endowment in Los Angeles.

This marks the first public opportunity to access this work in a live training format. The neuroscience-based concepts and protocols taught in this program, focused on traumatic stress treatment and resilience development, have previously been taught in university settings, Department of Defense trainings, and at the United Nations. Now, for the first time, they are being opened to a broader clinical audience in an immersive, practice-oriented training experience.

A rare opportunity to train directly with Dr. Kate Truitt

Dr. Kate Truitt is an internationally recognized clinical psychologist, neuroscientist, educator, bestselling author, and founder of the Truitt Institute. She is known for translating complex neuroscience into practical, clinically meaningful tools that professionals can apply immediately in real-world care.

This training offers a rare chance to learn directly from the developer of the NeuroTriad Model in a live setting designed for real clinical application, not passive observation.

Who this training is for

This event is designed for:

  • psychotherapists
  • social workers
  • psychologists
  • psychiatrists
  • psychiatric nurses
  • counselors
  • marriage and family therapists
  • behavioral health professionals
  • allied mental health professionals

Whether you are early in your career or an experienced clinician looking to deepen your work, this training is designed to strengthen your clinical lens and expand your usable toolset.

Why this training is different

This is not simply another trauma training or neuroscience overview.

The NeuroTriad Model training is built for clinicians who want a framework that is both scientifically grounded and clinically usable. It is hands-on, clinically relevant, and designed to bridge the gap between understanding the brain and knowing what to do in the room.

Attendees will gain real-world tools for:

  • nervous system regulation
  • trauma-informed clinical care
  • resilience-building
  • client agency and empowerment
  • applied neuroscience in day-to-day practice

What you will learn

Across two immersive days, participants will:

  • deepen their understanding of how stress, trauma, and resilience shape the brain and nervous system
  • learn practical neuroplasticity-based tools they can integrate immediately into clinical work
  • explore a neuroscience-informed framework designed to enhance existing therapeutic approaches
  • practice targeted protocols for rapid regulation, trauma integration, and resilience-building

What is included with registration

Every registration includes the full two-day live training plus a clinical toolkit with more than $249 in added resources, including:

  • an exclusive attendee-only copy of The NeuroTriad Model: Principles and Practice
  • 10+ ready-to-use client handouts
  • 5 demonstration videos of the NeuroTriad protocols applied in real-world clinical situations
  • an option to advance to the NeuroTriad Practitioner Certification track

We have intentionally kept the pricing lower than many trainings of similar depth because Echo Trainings and Dr. Truitt believe these science-backed tools should be more accessible across disciplines, settings, and communities. CEs are also available for interested attendees.

Why now?

This Los Angeles event is not simply another training on trauma or neuroscience. It is the first public opening of a model that has already been taught in trusted, high-level settings and is now being shared more broadly for the first time.

For clinicians who want to be in the first public cohort, learn directly with Dr. Kate Truitt, and leave with tools they can use immediately, this is a rare and timely opportunity.

Dr. Kate Truitt, PhD, MA, MBA is a clinical psychologist, applied neuroscientist, and internationally recognized educator specializing in trauma, stress physiology, neuroplasticity, and post-traumatic adaptation. With over two decades of experience in clinical practice, neuroscience-informed training and research, and systems leadership, her work focuses on translating complex brain science into ethically grounded, evidence-based strategies for mental health professionals and allied fields.

Dr. Truitt is the creator of the NeuroTriad Model and Brain Partnership, integrative neuroscience frameworks that synthesize contemporary research on affective neuroscience, psychophysiology, interoception, and learning-dependent neuroplasticity. Her work examines how traumatic stress and chronic threat exposure alter neural circuits involved in threat detection, affect regulation, executive functioning, and relational safety, and how these systems can be reorganized through experience-dependent interventions that support long-term recovery and adaptive resilience.

She is the founder of the Truitt Institute, leads an award-winning clinical practice at Dr. Kate Truitt & Associates, and serves as Executive Director of both the Amy Research Foundation and CEO of the Trauma Counseling Center of Los Angeles. Dr. Truitt is an international bestselling author of Healing in Your Hands and Keep Breathing, and the author of the Brain Partnership Toolbox for Addiction, Mental Health, & Trauma Treatment Professionals.
