Basic & Advanced Trauma Training

Echo provides a variety of one-day trainings on childhood trauma calibrated to different levels of knowledge and roles for professionals working with children and families.

Working with Childhood Trauma/Basic Trauma Training
Provides a basic overview of trauma and how to become trauma-informed, including skill-building around how to provide healing within relationship.

Working with Childhood Trauma II/Advanced Trauma Training
The second part of the trauma training provides a more in-depth look at the cutting-edge science surrounding childhood trauma, plus offers additional skills to help professionals develop a trauma-informed practice. We recommend that participants take WCT/Basic Trauma Training before taking Part II, or have a basic understanding of childhood trauma, including the impact of trauma on the brain and body, the ACE Study, trauma responses, and regulation techniques.
